Sports Gala of FCC

Annual athletics championship of FCC lasted from 24th to 25th February, Rector of University inaugurated this ceremony and Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi was chief guest of this ceremony. Aurangzeb hall win champions trophy.
123rd Athletic championship of FCC started on 24th February. The ceremony started with parade and 5000 meter race of boys. This colorful event ended on 25th February. Peter.H.Armacost, Rector inaugurated this event. Vice Rector, C.J.Dobash was also with Armacost. The chief guest was Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi, chairman of cybersoft. President of sports receive athletic torch from Armacost. Raffaqat Ameer considered being the best athlete with 4 gold medals and Nabeel Shafi Ulah got 2nd position with got 3 gold medals. Raffaqat got medals in hammer throw; Shot up Discus throw and pillow fight. Ritma was best athlete from girls and Solomi Anwar got 2nd position. 100 m, 200m, 400m, 1500m and 5000m race were included in this event. Besides this Hammer throw, Javelin throw, Discus throw, 400 m cycling, soft drink race, 150 m thread and needle race, balloon race and tug of war were also part of this event. Last event was tug of war.
Cultural Differences and Similarities

Forman Christian College organized debate competition for students on “who we are” on 26th April at 11 am in E-block. It was a 4-5 mint speech. Five participants represented five provinces of Pakistan.
FC College organized debate on “issues about our culture and identity. There were five representatives and each of them presented his views on his own culture. Furqan Mushtaq representing Punjab, Asif Saeed representing Sindh, Shayhaq Hayyat representing Balochistan, M.Hassan representing Khyber and Riaz Akber representing Gilgit Baltistan. It was held in E-25. It was conducted by Usman Farooq and organized by Sajid Majeed, president of Forman Sociological association. After speech there was a question answer session and students participated actively.
Vasakh Festival
A three day 3rd Vasakh documentary festival was held in Forman Christian College Lahore, in that festival different educational institute all over Pakistan presents their documentaries in the auditorium of the college.
This festival was three day long, which continuous from 18 to 20 May. A three day 3rd Vasakh documentary festival was held in Forman Christian College Lahore, in that festival different educational institute all over Pakistan presents their documentaries in the auditorium of the college. The prominent university who showed their work was University of Sindh, Kannard College, fatma Jinah College, Punjab university etc. documentary which was showed of was based on social issues and environmental problems in simply we say all the social issues are showed in these documentaries. Student of the universities was very much happy by that event according to them these types of function provide them opportunity to prepare themselves for future work. On the last day of this festival prizes was given to winner teams on that occasion Sayed noor, muno bahi was present as chief guest. First prize went to university of Sindh and second went to FC college.
